Accessibility at Still Waters Reiki
At Still Waters Reiki, we have taken steps to ensure that our services are accessible to individuals of all abilities. We have made adjustments in line with the principles of inclusivity and accessibility to provide a comfortable experience for everyone. These adjustments include:
- Providing alternative communication methods for individuals with specific needs.
- Creating a welcoming and supportive environment for all clients.​
- Our space is not currently accessible to people in wheelchairs, as we are located upstairs and there is no elevator in the building. To compensate, I offer at-home and hospital visits. IF YOU ARE IN NEED OF THIS SERVICE, DO NOT SCHEDULE THROUGH THE SCHEDULING APP. Please contact me to schedule.​
- I avoid the use of strong smells (incense or sage) in my room to help people who are sensitive to smells, but incense is used in the building. I've put many smell neutralizers in my room to help with that issue. If you are sensitive, it may help to wear a mask with peppermint oil (only use as directed on the bottle) in it when you enter the building.
